How will my child get to the specialty class?

Mrs. Ayllon or another ABC Monsters teacher picks kindergarteners up directly from their classroom at dismissal and walks them to the TK playground. TK students at WACC will be picked up by Mrs. Ayllon.  1st through 5th grade students walk to the TK yard where Mrs. Ayllon will meet them and check them in. Parents do not need to walk their child to class.

Do I need to notify after-care?

Yes. Please notify your child's after-care program that your child is enrolled in ABC Monsters so they know your child will attend class first and return to after-care afterward, or be picked up at the end of class.

Where does my child wait between school and class?

Students check in with Mrs. Ayllon on the TK yard.  Kids have time for snack and play before class begins.

What happens at the end of class?

Students enrolled in after-care are walked back to their program by Mrs. Ayllon at the end of class. Students being picked up meet their parent at the designated pickup spot at their school.

What should my child bring?

Just themselves — and their backpack. We provide all ingredients, equipment, and a container to take treats home.

What happens if my child is absent?

Please email us if your child will miss a class. Because ingredients are purchased and prepared in advance, we are not able to offer make-up classes for individual absences.

How are allergies handled?

Our classrooms are nut-free. Please share any allergies or dietary needs at registration so we can plan accordingly. If your child has a severe allergy, please contact us before registering.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method — credit card refunds are returned less the 3% processing fee, and Zelle refunds are returned in full. Individual missed classes are not refunded. If we cancel a session, it is refunded in full or rescheduled.
